2026 NFC North Schedule Predictions

Before we get into it, the NFC North is one of the best divisions in football and this year they play two of the worst divisions, the AFC East and the NFC South. Not that the AFC East is the worst but the two bottoms teams are non competitive. Nothing is a given in the NFL but with the strength of the NFC North over the past few years and the head coaching ability, it feels like the games against the Jets, Falcons, Saints, and Dolphins are basically auto wins especially late in the season in cold weather. These interdivision games are always cinema and for the most part I have the home team winning most of the matchups to avoid bias.

Here we go.

#1 Chicago Bears 12-5

#2 Detroit Lions 12-5

#3 Green Bay Packers 10-7

#4 Minnesota Vikings 10-7

---------------Break down-----------------

#1 Chicago Bears 12-5

Overall I think this is a pretty fair schedule to predict. They split their division games but sweep Minnesota at the end to clinch the division. Their toughest games are at Buffalo, at Seattle and hosting Philly in Chicago. Even if they do not win at Minnesota they will still finish with 11 wins. Jacksonville feels like a trap game but hopefully with the cold weather seems to really mess some team coming up from Florida.

#2 Detroit Lions 12-5

Detroit is playing a last place schedule and includes teams like the Titans, Cardinals and Giants. They should take care of the easy teams however stability on the offense and defense will be of question. They will most likely lose in Buffalo and they cant beat Ben Johnson forever, they will eventually split. Their key matchups will be against Minnesota and so if they can manage to win these games then they will be projected much higher. I feel they could go worst to first very easily this year if they can get healthy on the lines.

#3 Green Bay Packers 10-7

Green Bay was a hard team to predict this year. Ideally they would have Micah Parsons back for the start of the seasons but it does not look like he will be available until around Week 7. That being said they have a pretty easy first half until the bye week then they go on the road to LA where tey have never lost to Sean McVay but I think that changes this year with Myles Garrett. It will all come down to the division games and if Jordan Love and the offense can carry the defense through out the first half of the year.

#4 Minnesota Vikings 10-7

The Vikings are a really good team on paper. I have talked multiple times about how good Kyler Murray can be and what his ceiling is. The Vikings have some tough games this year against Buffalo, SF and the Patriots in New England. It will really all depend on how well Kyler Murray can do.

This is not rage bait, it is simply how the games align
